I didn’t start anything, I was asked. And if a lady asks, I answer, that is the way we were raised.
A good forum is like an extended family lunch on Sunday, people talking over each other, often more than one topic going on at the same time, one aunt is hard of hearing and always misunderstands things so you HAVE TO YELL at her, answers to questions being given 10 minutes later while everyone has moved on with other subjects, yet everyone has a good time and picks up the ball.
_Pass the gravy … Not before you say the magic wo-ord! Ok, pass the gravy NOW, goddamn!_
_Your last girlfriend was much nicer than the one you have now if you ask me! I didn’t ask and she wasn’t the last one, mom, she was the one before, you HATED my last girlfriend. But I never said a thing about her! Exactly, do we have salt on the table?_
_Can I go to my room now, I’m done. Yeah, and don’t forget to puke it all out on the way there when you pass the bathroom and then use the air freshener spray … I HATE YOU!!!_
_Is that a new recipe, tastes slightly different? Why don’t you just say out loud if you don’t like it then, no one ever appreciates what I do here!_
_Did you just burp, you know I hate it when you do that?! **Buuuuuurp!!!** You’re gross!!!_

I think the Discourse platform allows straying conversations to be “relocated” into its own topics, but not by us.
Karin should have her own section. like “Aunt Karin’s Pro Health Tips and IG Adoration” 🙂
Cheers, J.-

Men and their rigid minds, always compartmentalizing things as the free flow of thoughts, impressions and utterances is alien to their life form. They just don’t see the connecting dots, silly little things.
Don’t let them get you, Auntie Karin, it’s patriarchy at work, no less!!!

The forum has an ‘ignore’ function, try it. Go to that user’s profile, select the notification button (that’s the one with the bell on it) and set to `Ignored`. Unlike the comments, here the choice is yours.

Never mind all that Uwe, because:
🤩Blackmore is joining Purple tonight 😍😍😍
Oh what a night it will be!
Wish I lived nearby.
Hey, Uwe, do I remember you have a private jet? Then come and get me and let’s fly to NY!

Uwe, you know what? I’m a big girl, I can take it as good as I give out 😄
I know I can be boring, but I’m kind to animals and that counts too… (I hope ☺)

Karin, there’s no denying that you’re the queen of ramblings on the world wide web!
but apart from us users, the others do not know that the digressions ultimately lead inexorably to one point: a video of Ian Gillan in all his forms with related ecstatic comments!! 😆

Kindness towards animals is the first quality I consider in absolute terms. A person who is kind to animals will necessarily be kind to other human beings, to nature, to our poor earth and to life in general.
Unfortunately nature and animals are not a priority for our short-sighted governments, and I get very angry about it, and I feel infinite bitterness every day for this, but this as the famous phrase says “It’s another story …”
I get joy every day from my 4 cats who are starting to get older (the oldest one is “nail” because he’s a bionic cat, with metal nails in his legs, he’s approaching 10 years old in good shape) and I’m lucky for that!

Let me tell you one thing, that may not come as a Big surprise for you:
I do talk a lot 🤭
I do also write a lot..
and I saw Nick came up with a Solomonic solution: you can mute me 😃
But of course then you’ll never get my amazing recepies, Anton News, and when I finally meet the Greatest (that’ll be Ian) you’ll never hear about our great talk…

Well Flávio, I also consider kindness to man and beast to be among my favourite traits in people 🥰
No hungry person comes to my door without being fed (and thoroughly being informed of Purple and the wonderful music they have made 🤩)
You have cats! I love cats. Have had several. But at the moment I live nearby a busy road, my last cat, Pip, died because of that, so I cannot stand to let cats live here. But when I move even further into the country, I’ll have cats again.
Sadly you’re right about governments.
In Denmark we have beautiful wolves. They are not any danger to human beings, but some people have been completely hysterical so now the Danish government will kill what they call ‘problem wolves’.
See Flávio, we are not far away from each other 😁

“_Kindness towards animals_“ is something I remember mostly from the questionnaires the centerfold Playmates and Penthouse Pets would fill in. It showed up every time together with “_humor and generosity in a man_”.
I think there are exceptions to the rule that it automatically transposes to fellow humans too …

Uwe, I drove to Bramslev Bakker to take beautiful photos of the solar eclipse! And what happened? Clouds everywhere….
Anton was with me, and I tell you, it was a bit disappointing 😝
But this was the sunset 😊
