Most neclactable song on each album?

I start:

Most neclactable DP song in every album
Love Help Me
Kentucky Woman
Fault Line
Speed King
No No No
Never Before
Super Trouper
Mistreated
High Ball Shooter
I Need Love
Nobody’s Home
Mad Dog
Too Much is Not Enough
Lick It Up
The Aviator
Whatsername
Cotanct Lost
Girls Like That
Bodyline
Hip Boots
Remission Possibile
Caught in the Act
Lazy Sod
My New Movie

I agree with everything except Speed King and My New Movie - for me the In Rock track would be Living Wreck and the Splat track Beating of Wings.

I’ll presume we’re talking something negative here.

Living Wreck is my favourite track on the album. Holy molly, what a monster riff!

I would agree widely to this list - with three minor exceptions: Mistreated really? got played live even from Rainbow/Dio. Would choose A200 or Sail away from Burn instead. Caught in the act - actually the only track I like from this album and last but not least Never before, I think the band didn‘t like it (therefore rarely played live), but it was a minor Single hit in some countries and I like it - maybe the masterpiece Machine Head doesn‘t have a song of this category…

The wrong question. Early albums contain nothing neclactable, but some later do a lot of. For example, what interesting is in “Bananas”?

We’re talking “neglectable” here, right?

With me that differs too much from day to day and mood to mood for a personal list of mine to ever make sense. I also mostly listen to DP music in the context of full albums and never skip songs - I’d feel guilty  if I did.

Tilly’s list includes as many songs I don’t rate as mandatory with DP as ones that are favorites of mine.

Sail Away is among my top ten of DP songs ever! It’s a majestic number.

Some debateable choices… I’ll get back to that after holidays! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: And I always felt Highball Shooter was good fun… plus that solo of Jon’s …

We all know what’s meant here. Bet you never make any mistakes/typos?

This was an interesting task. I find myself disagreeing with some, while some selections are obvious. Some are really tough, because there isn’t really any neglectable choices on the record, some, because there are more than one.

Anyway, here’s mine, today.

Love Help Me
We Can Work It Out
Lalena
Living Wreck
The Mule (this is a tough one!)
Never Before
Super Trouper
A 200
You Can’t Do It Right
I Need Love
A Gypsy’s Kiss (another really tough one)
Black and White
Truth Hurts
One Man’s Meat
Soon Forgotten (nomen est omen)
Whatsername (tough call, but I’ll agree)
Sun Goes Down
Girls Like That
Body Line
On Top Of The World
Drop The Weapon
Dixie Chicken
Sharp Shooter
My New Movie

Bananas is - with Abandon - in the top two DP albums that had a personal impact on me on arrival. So, not to get too deep into personal horns and blowing them, but anyway, here is a discussion on this forum that should answer the very question: Can we speak about Bananas?

Settle down, dad, averywon makes typhoid and averywon can take a joke about it.

The misspelling was très cute, we just had to wring that nec(k)lactable for all its worth!

I even checked an online dictionary for the meaning! :joy:

Euer Ehren, no helicoptering in this case - the offspring is much more fluent in almost everything by now and does not need any help from yours truely - I had spoken up for anyone here - and have in fact done for others in similar cases. It’s cheap to point out mistakes made by people that don’t communicate in their own language.

I remember people that stayed in Germany for quite some time not even trying to say guten Tag or danke but expecting everyone to talk to them in their god given language.

Bonna notte from Napoli

Good wits doe jumpe!

It may come to your surprise, but English is not the first language for most of the people on this forum, truly yours included. And two typos in a same word is pushing the limits of guessable.

Oh come on you ole Soviet, have a heart as wide as the Taiga,

neclactable was potatoepeic, no tomatopeic, no onomatopoeic - phew! -, no phonetic was the word I was looking for! Cut Little Tilly some slack. The kid had it hard, having to listen to his beloved Black Sabbath in secrecy from his domineering father and all that.

How could I forget that TWO typos make pendantry a must! After all…we’re not here for fun are we?

Haha, potatoepeic and tomatopoetic, gotta love that.

Yeah well, my bad. But apparently most people got what I was trying to say. Thanks for the nice replies!

Tough Soon Forgotten is one of my clear favourites of Purpendicular.
