A DP covers thread šŸ™‚ The Rules: - An artist that is **not** a former or current member of DP covering one the bandā€™s songs. - It can involve DP related musicians, but only as _guests_, not main artists. these covers are beautiful! Helloween very good, it was not easy to make Rat Bat Blue, but their mastery allows them to do it! Phil Campbell and his band are very good, if you play with LittleIan you have to be! Black Crow vs Kula Shaker 10-0 The Crows are one of the bands with one of the best grooves in history. kula shaker too fast and too Brit pop. by the way, Hush by Purple has always been an iconic song for the Mods and neo-Mods movement. Iā€™ve never owned a Venom album in my life, but as far as intensity goes, this is pretty stunning and does the original justice. And Cronos is a much better singer than many of the cooky monster vocalist that came after him. Yet these guys were once deemed so extreme, my how times change! Canā€™t agree with the ā€œnoise merchantsā€ qualification (not that the original was in any way ā€œunnoisyā€, wasnā€™t that even the point?), frantic yes, but well-played.
