Used to party a lot…living almost ascetic for 7 years now…and life is so much better, brighter…
get up early. See the sun rise. That is all i need.
Erik, getting the sunlight in one’s eyes possibly soon after getting up is recently confirmed to be a big blessing for the biological kick-start of the body and helps a lot having a good, even day later on.
Re “Always look on the bright side of life” - the dear Sirs in Monty Python made that to a plaque in my country

We used to play that silly little song in my band, just for fun, mainly for the ladies in our audience…doing Gigs for friends and relatives …after we did our little setlist of cover songs ( Clapton, Doors, Winwood, old blues tunes) and a few originals…
