Where is our esteemed ex lawyer friend, the one from Germany. Don’t tell me he is rebelling against a little ‘discipline’ over there at THS. I am not talking about King Crimson’s 1981 album. Although on that album sleeve it does state '“Discipline is never an end in itself, only a means to an end”. Come on Uwe, it isn’t THAT bad here. Cheers.

Rainbum Downsizing is a great album, the keyboard solo in Daily Starbucks is my favorite, although the bass is a little loud in places. Nuanced drumming throughout and the lyrics were unafraid to tackle the serious issues of disenchanted working class youths in industrial Northern England in the mid 70s. Really a social commentary of sorts.

Gary Moore, I’ve always loved his very natural guitar sound, like here at 02:22,

subtle, tasteful, committed to melting into the music and not at all self-centered. A consummate band musician if there ever was one!

I was hesitant about signing up here too… I’m afraid of missing out on things to read, and—let’s face it—we’re slaves to the internet, at least a little bit. I don’t want to be one; I don’t use social media—I don’t have Facebook, Instagram, or any of that stuff.

It seems like some old timer keeps writing and writing and often goes way off-topic. In the end, the forum just becomes a scattered mess. The forum was created specifically because of going off-topic in the comments under the portal’s news articles, yet I notice people are behaving here the exact same way. What a pain.
