I took my kid to see Jack White last night. Pretty good show, but very different from Purple. Virtually no interaction with the crowd and no chat between teachers, except once to introduce the band.
Come on at 9pm, off at 9:57, back on at 10pm and played another 30 mins. In that time, he got through 24 song, averaging a song every 3 1/2 minutes.
I’ll see your Jack White (who I think is brilliant, BTW) and raise you the Ramones, who often played circa 30 songs in 60 minutes

I love the Ramones, but nobody needs more than 30 minutes of them.
That is music my son liked a few years ago, not my taste but ok. Been to Slipknot and Metallica shows with my then boy and to several Purple gigs…passing the torch, hehe
