It was a Danish duo Sussi&Leo who somehow had a successful career with SotW…
I can proudly say: no, I never saw them live 
Sussi is no Ritchie and Leo is certainly no Ian, but somehow people loved them, or maybe loved to laugh at them 
Ahahaha, that rendition of SOTW reminds me of my first band in school, unfortunately there is no video footage surviving…we had our Sussi too by the name of Martina, a cute little blonde she was with great ambitions but not a great voice i recall

Doug, the day you can sing like Ian Gillan, and have had a career like him, I will certainly be very respectful to you 
But this is sublime
And that’s part of the problem - I try (but sometimes fail) to respect everyone, regardless of who they are or what they have achieved. 
Be nice to people, respect their requests, and we all benefit.
